The extension update notification modal has appeared. When is an update required?
The update notification modal is displayed when an extension update is essential due to WAC feature updates.
You must proceed with the update if your current extension version is lower than the minimum required version, which is determined by comparing your current extension version against the minimum requirement for your QueryPie Host version.
When does the recording notification modal appear? It seems to pop up all the time.
The recording notification modal is displayed at the start of a session. A session begins when the first tab for a web app is opened and ends when the last tab for that web app is closed.
I scrolled up and down, but no record was left. When are scroll activities recorded?
User Activity Recording must be enabled for the web app, and it must be configured to capture scroll up and scroll down events. Additionally, scrolls are recorded when you scroll up or down by more than 500 pixels in the web browser. Event recording has a certain debounce time, so if various types of events occur in rapid succession, some might not be recorded.
When I open a link within a web app using "Open in new tab," the Event Snapshot is not recorded.
When a link is opened in a new tab, the Extension cannot recognize the content loaded in the new tab, so a screenshot for the Navigated event is not captured.
However, please note that if other events (such as a mouse click) occur in the new tab, a screenshot will be captured then.
The user information in the extension shows as N/A, and refreshing doesn't change it.
This occurs because you are logged out of the extension.
If you log into the QueryPie instance (registered as the Host in the extension) via your web browser, the extension will also load the login information. After that, select your Role to use it normally.
